Historical eligibility covered Boston residents age 60 or older, adults with a chronic or permanent disability, and income-qualified adults under prior rules.

No current standard or cargo application. General applications closed after four rounds, and no later round is planned.

Benefit details

The closed Round 4 offered $800 or $1,200 for a standard e-bike and $1,100 or $1,500 for a cargo e-bike. These standard and cargo amounts are historical and are not currently claimable.

Cambridge Resident Bike Voucher Program

Income-qualified Cambridge residents age 18 or older for e-bikes. Eligibility required qualifying benefits or household income below 65% of area median income.

No new applications or waitlist additions. Existing waitlisted applicants may receive vouchers as funds become available.
