Key requirements

Austin Energy electric account holders purchasing a qualifying new electric two- or three-wheel vehicle. Enhanced tiers require Customer Assistance Program participation.

Purchase or application process

Purchase from an Austin Energy participating dealership, then apply online within 60 days.

Benefit details

Standard rebates are $200, $400, or $600 based on purchase price. Customer Assistance Program rebates are $300, $700, or $1,300.

Low-Income E-Bike Rebate Program

Key requirements

San Antonio residents age 18 or older at or below 80% of HUD area median income, adjusted for household size. The applicant must be the rider, and only one application per household is accepted.

Purchase or application process

Selected applicants redeem the voucher in person at a participating local bike shop; online purchases do not qualify.

Income-qualified voucher: $1,000 toward a qualifying new e-bike.

Electric Vehicle & E-Bike Rebate Program

Key requirements

Residents within Denton corporate or city limits. The e-bike must be new, Class 1, 2, or 3, have two or three wheels and fully operable pedals, use a motor of 750 watts or less, and have no gas power. Applicants may qualify twice per 12-month period.

Purchase or application process

Purchase from the retailer of the participant's choice, then submit the City application with an itemized dated invoice within 90 days of purchase.

Benefit details

50% of the invoice, up to $750, for a qualifying new e-bike.
