Class 2 to Class 3 Request

Use this form if you own an eligible Ariel Rider Class 2 bike and want to request a Class 3 software-key path. Start with your bike details, then read and sign the rider certification.

How this works
  • Start with your rider, bike, and state details.
  • Then read the agreement and sign the request.
  • The throttle must be removed or disabled before this request can move forward.
  • Ariel Rider may ask for photos of the completed hardware changes before any software key is released.
  • Requests from New York, New Jersey, and outside the U.S. do not continue through this page.

Start with your bike

This page records your bike details and rider certification. The throttle must be removed or disabled before Ariel Rider will continue, and your state may also require a working speedometer or updated class labeling.

Before you continue

After you submit, Ariel Rider may ask for photos showing that the throttle has already been removed or disabled and that any other required hardware changes are complete.

What happens next

Request first, documentation later

This page does not collect photos or release a software key. After you submit, Ariel Rider may ask for documentation showing the completed throttle removal or disablement and any other required hardware changes.

  • Keep the handlebar and throttle area easy to photograph.
  • Be ready to show the completed hardware change clearly if support asks.
Required before this request can continue: The throttle must be removed or disabled before Ariel Rider will continue. Ariel Rider may ask for photos of that completed change before any software key decision is made.
