Kepler ships as a Class 2 e-bike (20 mph), which is street-legal in many U.S. areas. You can enable Class-3 assist mode where local law allows. Always check your state and city rules before riding.

"Am not thrilled with the more aggressive tread pattern than I was looking forward to, as I will be riding primarily on pavement. However, after testing the tires shipped, I am satisfied that they are quiet enough and probably handle better in snow which I may only encounter rarely. Packaging and shipping were well done. The bike performs well, is very well designed and built. I wish it had a cruise control, but otherwise I am impressed!"

"This bike is a great blend of a solid mountain bike and an extended travel e-bike. The weight of the bike lets you know it is not a bicycle. The dual batteries provide a tremendous range before recharging. At 6'4", the seat height and handlbar positions are less than perfect, but the simplicity in riding/cruising makes it okay -- even at height and weight."
