Context
How Arkansas regulates e-bikes
Arkansas recognizes Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 e-bikes. The state-specific age and helmet rules are: A person under 16 may not operate a Class 3 e-bike. A person under 16 may ride as a passenger on a Class 3 e-bike that is designed for passengers. A Class 3 operator or passenger who is under 21 must wear a helmet. Arkansas does not impose that Class 3 helmet rule on riders age 21 or older.
